I am new to chickens. I just moved into my new-to-me house, and the previous owners left their chickens for us.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 6
(3) What breeds do you have?
I'm not 100% sure, but I know I have two eastereggers so one of those breeds at least.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I've been wanting chickens for awhile so just having them is exciting for me right now. I'm still very new so I don't know if I'm able to say what my favorite aspects are right now.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm an artist so I love to do artsy things. I also play piano and love to bake.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with my boyfriend and my dog Bourbon. I'm a graphic designer at an acoustic treatment company.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I'm interested in building my own coop, and found BYC through a google search for coop builds.
