Hello,
Three weeks ago, I got 6 chicks from tractor supply. One of chick passed away last week, and another one paralyzed due to unknown reason. She is eating and drinking fine, but can’t stand/walk. Both of chicks are Easter egger breed. Other four checks are growing and health so far. ( one Easter egger and other three are brown egg layers) I have fed all chicks Electrolyte water since day 1 and Dumor chick starter.
She has not grown much compared with other four. I have Google about the paralyze chick issues and I started gave vitamins water to the paralyzed chick. Anyone has this type experience with success recovery?
Attached first day home picture.

:frow Welcome from New Orleans. I am so sorry to hear about your 2 chicks. Since they are both EE from Tractor Supply and it has only been 3 weeks, I would alert them to the problem. Ask if other people have brought this to their attention. Sadly it could just be something about this bunch of EE. I wish you all the luck in the world, with chicken keeping. Sometimes these things happen when we raise animals, especially livestock. Sadly you are experiencing the worst part of chicken keeping first. Please don't get discouraged, you will have lots of good times with your flock as time goes on. :hugs

Hello and welcome. I think you're on the right track with vitamins added to the water. Try the electrolytes as well, but if the chick is paralyzed you should be using a dropper several times a day to make sure they are getting the nutrients.
There are other possible leg problems, so I'm sure someone with more knowledge than I will chime in too.
I'm glad you're doing all that you can. Good luck.

Welcome to BYC. I'm sorry about your chick.
If using electrolytes, you need to make sure they have plain water as well. If you use a dropper, just put a small amount on the beak. Chicks can aspirate easily, so don't force it in her mouth.
The chick who cannot walk, may be suffering from a vitamin deficiency. What feed are you using? Is it medicated?
Have you tried giving the sickly chick, scrambled eggs? (If you do so, be sure that they have access to chick grit too.) If it is a vitamin deficiency, it may take a week or longer to see improvement. You can find Poultry Cell at Tractor Supply. Just mix a small amount in their water daily.
Are you noticing any diarrhea? If so, you may need to treat all of them for cocidosis, using corid.
