Well chickens can eat INCRDEDIBLY a lot.Chickens do not really sleep also .But keeping them full is difficult.My hen sget lots of food.If you want so I do not sit here and explain things you can go to my Tips on CHICKENS!I tell a few things but I can add if you want.

Don't underestimate your corgi, they can put out quite a burst of speed when motivated. Most dogs view chickens as squetoys and play with them till they stop moving (dead)
