First time Duck owner question. My duckling is nibbling

My wife bought a baby duck from the feed store.
The duckling is nibbling on us. Does this mean its hungry?

Ducks will nibble anything and everything. But they also are hungry basically all the time.

It matters because ducks are flock animals. I can't find the article but I know @Isaac 0 has it. Isaac, you know that article on why it's bad to have just one duck. I think he will post it so you can see.

If you just got it, it shouldn’t matter. But definitely do get another duck because they need buddies to thrive and be happy and healthy.

... This sounds really cute to me, for some reason. Probably for the same reason that I think that my chicks pecking my nose is cute... and even my teeth, if I make the mistake of showing them.
Anyway, good luck with your little duckling! I hope that you can get more for it soon -- it will definitely appreciate the company of other fluffy little peepers.

It might matter a little bit but I'm sure they will be ok. Just introduce them slowly and see how it goes. They will probably be glad to have each other.
