First time Egg Hatcher...help!

I have a hen that is sitting on 2 eggs. Day 21 is tomorrow...Halloween Day. I can hear peeping from inside the egg but I don’t see any cracking yet. How long should it take for something to start happening now that I hear peeping, and how long will it take for the chicks to completely hatch?
Also...when they are born do I need a heat lamp? Or does mom keep them warm and give them all the heat they need? I feel lost as this is my first time doing this. Any advice/help is appreciated. Thank you!

You should see something by morning . Could be a little longer . If the hen is a good broody she'll take of them . But it doesn't hurt to be ready with heating lamp if you need it . Good luck

Ok keep calm a cheep on..... lol it can take 24 hrs from internal pip ( when you hear peeping) till you see the first extrenal pip, and still a while after that for them to fully hatch. Provided mama is a good mama she will take care of everything. So breathe and let her do her thing.

I had one that had an internal pip last night around 6 PM. It hatched around 7 PM tonight. Took it about a full 24 hours from internal to hatching. Couldn't even see much of an external pip until around 5 PM tonight. Zipping and hatching happened really fast. Such a miracle! Best wishes!

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the advice. My Hen is sitting on them, so I don’t have an incubator. Does mama hen just sit on them the entire time they are hatching, or does she get off?? I don’t know how to check on the eggs if she’s sitting on them...?
