First time eggs

My Runners play soccer with their eggs when they are laying

Ha - never thought about dicks actually playing soccer with their eggs. Maybe mine get bored and play when I’m late to let them out for the pond in the morning. I’ve noticed only those days I find an egg or two on the far side of house opposite the nesting boxes. Othewise they are all in the boxes.

Thank you! Does it matter how many days old the eggs are? Or would the above bullseye/spots appear immediately?

The bullseye will get bigger the older the egg is. But you should always be able to see it.

You look to have 2 females. You would start to see a difference in plumage by now if one was a male. YouTube male and female quacks. It’s very helpful. Or if you can upload a video of your ducks quacking we could tell you in a jiffy what sex they were.
