Hi everyone,
This may has been asked before, in which case my apologies but a long search didn't bring up anything.
I have been wanting geese for years. I just love them and now all of a sudden I am getting geese offered from 3 different places.
Offer 1: 1 year old male
Offer 2: a couple, 3 months old
Offer 3: a couple, 5 months old
I love the idea of having a flock of geese wondering around my property so I am considering accepting all 3 offers but I am a bit concerned about introducing them to each other and how to make it clear where their sleeping place is. With chickens, I would keep them in their coop for 24 hours and they would find their own way back. Does it work the same with geese?
What would be the best way to introduce all these geese to each other? Do I just pen them up together or is that asking for trouble?
Any advice is most appreciated!
Pascal
