I have 12 eggs incubating now, 4 have hatched and seem to be doing well! They are running on the other eggs, is that a problem? Im worried they are moving them too much 😫. Also the humidity spiked to 85... will that drown the others?? Worried chick mama šŸ˜ž

Are there anymore eggs with pips? If so I wouldn’t risk opening the incubator. Eggs gets joseled i’m not sure if that’s how you spell it well, moved around in nature and they turn out fine!

As for humidity, that is pretty high. Is there anyway for you to turn it down??

The humidity spikes during hatching. I’m assuming because of all the moisture in the inside of the egg. High humidity during hatch is fine, it’s during the first 18 days it might be a problem because the air cell won’t get big enough. My first hatch this year got into the 80s and they were fine.

The jostling ... I hatch eggs upright (shipped) typically. I do know that this is asked often here and the answer is usually that they are fine.

Yes, i have 5 more with pips. The last one i dont think it will do anything, its green so i couldn't see through it when candling. 6 have hatched now, and looks like 1 more very soon as they are starting to zip. No way i can turn it down, i have the vent open all the way. Its starting to come back down now thankfully as the last 2 chicks hatched around 5am this morning. Thank you!
