First time hatcher, now in lockdown!

I totally know what you mean now! I knew they were cute but had no idea how much until they popped out and fluffed up. I'm soaking up as much baby time as I can while they're still teeny 🥰
We're still getting our homestead set up so it won't be this year, but I think we'll be raising quail as well. And you can't ask for a better price for fertile eggs!

Right?? I think I got lucky though! I've read about some people getting 1 fertile egg out of 20, or no fertile eggs at all with grocery store eggs!

Yeah, you got lucky. Incubating grocery eggs will be more expensive than incubating hatching eggs on long term basis.
Only advantage may be the avaibility.
