First time hatcher

I have two thermometers: one is digital and it read 100 and the other came with the incubated (the cheap kind with the red) and it read 105.

I candled today and I saw movement in all 9 eggs still! They are on day 14 today, and I marked their air cell growth. The temperature is now 99 on the digital themometer and 100 on the other. I really hope these babies hatch! I'm so nervous! One long week to go and 4 long days until lockdown! Can you tell this is definitely my first hatch? Lol! ;)

Well, I just read this article: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/431902/problems-with-gqf-thermometer-that-comes-with-hovabator

So the thermometer that read 105 was that, exact, GQF thermometer. I guess the temperature wasn't actually 105. I'll just trust my $10 thermometer/hydrometer that I got at Lowes. Again, it read 100 at the same time as the GQF thermometer read 105! Here is the hopefully correct thermometer: http://www.lowes.com/pd_396632-5392...goriesDisplayView&storeId=10151&storeId=10151

............ Wow that's long!

uggggg thermometers!!

did you try calibration? got to this article and scroll to the bottom of temps section for more info on Calibration and how to do it

I tried but I can't do the ice calibration on the digital because it will get ruined, and the GQF thermometer only goes down to 70.

OH! I am not sure then, I can tell you this.... my digitals are pretty spot on, but that cheap crap that came with my styro bator says 92 when in fact it is 99.5!!!
