First Time Hatching Anyone With Me??

I put mine in right when March started, it was a few minutes after midnight. So day 4. I've got 39 in there, 5 of my own and 34 shipped. 14 Bev Davis FBC Marans, 17 Gene C1 FBC Marans, and 3 Blue Orpingtons. Mine are Red Star x GL Wyandotte.

lockdown tonight!!!!

11 chicks have made it this far... a few of them look smaller than the others, but are moving and have good veining still, so we'll see what happens come hatch day. I am nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 7th is the "due" date (in the evening)... we'll see what happens!!! I sure hope at least a few hatch out alive!

So does that mean you only think 5 will make it, or that there are 5 that you REALLY want to hatch?

I have three eggs that I would love to get chicks from, but since it is my first, I'll be happy to get more than one live chick, I guess.

so I just candled and I saw perfect little toes!!! So cute. I got so excited that I almost dropped the egg

Due date is the 11th, getting sooo close.
