First time hatching anything. I decided to hatch quail!

I am finally trying to hatch eggs. I wanted to add quail to my tiny homestead. I thought I would try to hatch. I found a local breeder so the eggs are very fresh! I hope to do well! I am shooting for a 50% hatch rate my first time. Luckily the people I bought eggs from are nice and willing to answer all my quail related questions!

Good luck with your hatch! Quail are super fun to hatch, when they start zipping, they don't stop! It's like watching popcorn popping!

GOOD LUCK Hatching can be very rewarding and exciting but a little nerve racking at first. What type of Quail you hatching? I raise Jumbo Coturnix Browns and Whites there are some very experienced folks here on BYC that are more than willing to help, so don't be afraid to ask. Keep us updated on your hatching

Day 15 the quail eggs are on lock down. I have observed some eggs wiggling. There is one I named Cluck Norris that is pretty wiggly! I am so excited
