First Time Hatching Chicks

Hi, this is my first time ever incubating eggs and they are getting very close to hatching. I am away from home for 12 hours and I was wondering how long hatched chicks can be in the incubator for? I don't want anything bad to happen and the instructions said to take them out when they get fluffy, but I also don't know how long that takes. Please, can someone help me!!

I have hatched many batches, however it was with broody hens. Doing it on my on without a real mom is terrifying and everything that happens scares me.

I see. I tried broody hens. Didnt have the right setup and I suffered for it. So I bought an incubator. I am about to stick my fourth batch in.
