Hi, this is my first time hatching eggs in an incubator and I’m hoping someone can answer some question. We are at day 21 and one egg hatched about 4 hours ago. Chick is totally out the egg and doing fine. I have 7 eggs left to hatch. I know it could take a couple more days. Here’s my questions:
* If by this time tomorrow the one that hatched is dry should I put it in the brooder or wait for the others?
* will a single chick survive if none of the others hatch?
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Congrats! The first time is always fun.

you could put it in the brooder, i would wait though, no rush, they are fine on food and water and need to dry anyway, you dont want him lonely either.

i would simply just wait.

if none of the others hatch, its highly unlikely, but do you mean will he be lonely?

if so yes, and he would need attention 27/7 and i would not recommend it.

21 days is standard for hatch time, i got 6/9 eggs hatch last time I hatched, 3 being roos.

Temp being low can delay the hatching, so note that.
