First Time Hatching - incubator edition

Pics
Okay, they look alright as far as the air cells go. As for the dead eggs, they were definitely dead and I opened them up. 3 looked like they had died around day 7-8 and the other 3 looked like they had died yesterday

Fingers crossed that the rest hatch successfully! As hard as it can be to look at the passed chicks it can also be very educational.

Nothing much to update other than to say there’s 6 more days left of incubation. I haven’t candled all of them since day 10 and I’m honestly afraid to. The random ones I selected were all alive, so hopefully that means they all are.

Okay, so, it’s day 16 and I went ahead and candled all of them. They were all alive. 5 more days until chicks.

Also, I could see this chick’s feet. should I be worried about it’s positioning?

Did you count the day you set the eggs as Day 1?
Air cells look good.
No, I didn’t. They were set on Jan. 1st, but I started counting on Jan. 2nd. Mmmmmm or would today day 15? It was around 7pm on the 1st when they went into the incubator.

They're looking great! The chicks will rotate in the egg for hatch.
I figured I’d ask because that’s the only feet I saw when candling. I saw movement in all of the eggs, but nothing that were clearly feet like in that egg. But, it’s good everything is looking good. Should I candle anymore or just leave them be?

That's up to you if you would like to candle again. I usually candle in the evening when I put them on lockdown.
