First time hatching new chicks

With you being in Texas, does all the heat make a difference?? It has been record breaking even for Arizona!! 111 degrees yesterday!!! Yuk!

Hello everyone, longtime background lurker here. I have a game hen who hatches my eggs. We call her fussbudget, she not very friendly, I would actually call her evil,but she is a wonderful momma. She's got babies due tomorrow. I'm so excited to see them even though she will attack me if I go near her. I cannot wait to hear those little cheeplets.
