First time hatching...

I got 2 red sexlings last fall and one started brooding about a month ago. I got 4 few eggs from a friend and we are on day 23! Today one pipped and the other is peeping quite a bit. How much should I check on them when they are under her? I started with 4 eggs and am down to 2, she kicked two out early on. So I am hoping they both hatch bc I can't add chicks to her clutch (or can I?)

Day 24: I have one chick! My husband and I have a small coop so I am glad we will have just one or two chicks.So much still to learn! How to determine sex, when to bother the last egg. I still hope that little one pulls through... :|
