This is my first time incubating eggs so I’m a bit nervous, not even sure which ones are fertile because some of my hens might not let the rooster do anything but fingers crossed 🤞, so far I have three Easter eggers, one Rhode Island Red, one possible cinnamon queen and one cuckoo maran, I’ll only be keeping the Rhode Island Red and whatever breeds I get from my neighbor, trying to get new breeds into the coop, half hoping I get a Roo because ours is a bit of a jerk to kids because they used to bully him and sometimes my family members, but that might be all roosters so I’m not sure if I should risk that… but super excited about this and hoping it works out well! I will be starting the incubator today or tomorrow when I get the other eggs, already picked out names for the eggs I have currently, there’s Onion, Olive and Sage for the Easter eggers, Raddish for the Rhode Island Red, Dill Weed for the Cuckoo Maran and Chipotle for the cinnamon queen

Good luck! When my daughter was little, she would right the names of the "chicks" on the eggs!😊
I did that with the ones I know the breed of but the only fertile one I still have with the name is Onion the potential olive egger (Mix between my white Easter egger and cuckoo maran roo) who is already claimed by a friend, checked again last night and I now have nine, only not fertile one is the Rhode Island Red

Yeah there’s a high possibility that the cinnamon queen and Rhode Island Red might not be incubated, along with two of the Easter eggers, guess I’ll figure out when I candle
I built an incubator, ordered baby chicks and threw a divider up in the community nest box. (in case one of my hens is triggered by the sight of the baby chicks and goes broody!)
I don't put much faith in any of my eggs hatching but it's worth a try!:jumpy

I just had my first two hatches! I’m so happy, they weren’t supposed to start until after Monday!
I know the darker one is a cinnamon queen but I don’t know what the other one is
