First Time Incubating Chicken Eggs

I have successfully hatched a couple quail eggs before, but never chickens. I will be getting some more Ameraucana eggs tomorrow and then put them all in the homemade 'bator I made out of a cooler.
Any tips?
I do know it is bad to take out chicks one at a time because it shrinkwraps the others. Is there anything else I should know so I don't kill off all of the chicks?

Did you calibrate your hygrometer?

The last 3 days don't turn the eggs and don't open the bator.
