UPDATE
Well out of the 6 eggs think one may of stopped on day 18 after not having any water in the incubator to lower humidity was not sure so left in incubator the veins were harder to see not as clear, the air cells on the other eggs looked more the right size.
The rest of the eggs the bigger one was going so strong untill the lockdown and raising Humidity.
The first chick external pipped later on that day then hatched on the 20th which was end of day 19, the second chick had pipped before the 1st egg hatched then hatched the next day at 6.40 am very early with the 1st chick still climbing around in there, both chicks zipped around pretty fast once they started that bit, 2nd chick dried off so by 2.30pm on that day the 21st November they were moved to the brooder coop under the heat plate
The other eggs have not done anything now day 26 so think they did not make it, whish I candled them after taking out the 2 chicks on day 21 to see if anything was going on - only added small water to keep humidity the same and was waiting and kept checking the eggs just nothing has happened
Well out of 6 fertile eggs I got 2 beautiful chicks.
Just such a shame I did not get more chicks it was so good seeing them moving around in the eggs and so upsetting they did not live to be chicks think I will do eggtopsy tomorrow see if I can tell why, what they might of looked like, what I did wrong
On a good note
The chicks are moving around well good little voices, they are eating and drinking well trying to flap wings
pictures
all the eggs in the incubator and temp/ humidity gauge middle little full up
chick 1 doing well at zipping around most way there
Chick 1 hatched out - about to dry off, next to the pipped egg
chick 2 on the left , chick 1 on the right, moving to brooder
chicks having a walk around brooder enjoying the food
Chicks eating together now, the smaller chick is no1 (right) and 2nd chick (left) was bigger when hatched - different colours a bit so nice to tell which ones they are - fluffy feet so good little bantams
