Hatching day is getting close. So excited. But yesterday was a fab day for me. I went to a local small farm, to collect my butchering pig. (I cut all my own meat) and went round to see the animals. And spotted one of their Sheep was literally giving birth. I got to see her have both Lambs. Which normally happens a couple of hours apart. But instead happened in minutes. I also managed to get a video. But I will attach a pic, For you all to see!
Was amazing!!

Well lockdown has now commenced. Unfortunately I've lost a lot of eggs quite late into development. I have set 6 on the of chance that 1 of them may JUST hatch! I think my temps and humidity may be to blame as well as a lot of infertile and blood ring incidences. So i now know what to look out for with the next batch. Awesome lesson learned! To invest in more efficient temp controlling tools! Haha! It would be great if all this hard work paid off with something hatching but if not will not give up! Already collecting eggs for next batch, have 40 eggs it total 6 from home as they are crossed I thought I would have a go with these as well because after a lot of research the air cell can easily get damaged in the post/mail. The rest of my eggs are coming from eBay so hoping ill have better fertility with the next batch. Has anyone found that suggestive humidity levels throughout incubation vary so much on the Internet! I will for sure change what I did this time. I think my levels have been to high. So will see!

I went with the dry method humidity ranged from 20-39% and then when I locked the eggs down I put in a bowl with sponge cloths to keep the humidity about 62-65% out of 6 eggs 5 hatched the other was a quiter. Most likley from when the power went out for 10 hours the temps got down to 50 deg F (10deg C). I was supprised that that we got the hatch we did with all things considered. Good luck on your next hatch.

Well done udovichtony!

Well I am a nervous wreck. Humidity is at 70 percent ish. I don't know if its a ghost but I had one egg that was facing circle straight up. And last night it had rolled towards another egg. Now this am its half way back to its start position. Not sure what's going on there. But I'm calling this day 20 and other than that roll not a peep or chirp or anything. Really don't think anything will happen. Got my next batch nearly ready to go in. As I figured nothing was going to happen with these. But I'm still a wreck!!
