First time incubating...

This is my first time trying to incubate my own bird's eggs!! Im super excited!!
Set date - December 18th,2011
Lockdown - January 5th,2012
Hatch Date - January 8th,2012

I really hope these eggs make it!! I really want to see what comes from my birds an see if their babies are any better then what their parents are!

1 egg is from my roo 20oz roo, Austin (Ciara's Brother) and my daughter's 12oz hen, Claire..

and the other egg is from my 24oz (yes very overweight) roo, Baron, and my 15oz hen, Ciara (Austin's sister)

Good luck! Nice looking birds.

I have never incubated eggs from my own flock, but others have - with pretty good success. Of course, my flock is varied so lots of little "designer" chicks have been hatched.
