One is out

Autumn, how are you seeing that one is out or one has zipped etc? If you just Tilt the hen enough to see the eggs you Can cause hatching problems with them. I would Suggest you let her take care of the eggs, maybe you can bake a cake or do something to keep you away from her---LOL. Good Luck!!

Everyone say Hi to my new chicks from Papa's Poultry! So far I have one BBS Orphington, one Chocolate Orphington, one Lemon and one I'm not sure of.

I have 9 out so far. The last one is taking forever to hatch and not showing much progress. I can see his beak and it's still moving. He just isn't zipping. Everyone else is dry and happy.

I'll get pictures when they are in the brooder

If its day 21 or later and ALL have hatched except this one, "I" open the hatcher/incubator and gently give it some help
You do not have to worry about the humidity anymore at that stage. Good Luck!!

I just got my eggs from papas poultry myself. Now I have to wait til room temp! I'm getting nervous now.

Try not to be nervous and enjoy the experience :thumbsup

Although it is nerve racking it's also such an amazing thing to watch them hatch.
