First time incubating

That's what I was thinking. I have one dry one and she's a wildwoman!! Lol and another that's not quite dry yet. I will remove them both when they are completely dry. Thanks for all your info! You guys are the best!

This a little off topic but I have a peep that piped last night around 9. It has zipped but having trouble coming out. It looks like it's coming out backwards. Should I try to help it or let it alone?

I just thought of a vent/humidity example... When my cat decides to sleep on top of the incubator she covers the top vents and the humidity rises about 5%. Once off, it drops back to normal. If you can, take notes of how opening the vents and chicks hatching affects your humidity, I'm curious and would like to know if you don't mind taking notes.

How far has it zipped? Can you post a picture?

I sure can do that and I'll go try to get a picture now. Ty!

That's one I would probably take a closer look at and might even pop off the top of it's shell, but I would leave it in the egg and let it try to kick free.

Ok it's so hard to know whether to help or just let it be. It is chirping and steadily pushing.
