He's really chirping around in there. Bill just keeps going in and out while opening and closing really fast

He just pushed his bill out so far i swear I thought his head was gonna come through the hole. I don't think he wants to unzip. He wants to dive right out. Maybe he doesn't have space to turn because the air cell membrane isn't broken so he's not able to use the full space inside the egg?

Its starting to crack a line out on each side of the pip hole he's pushing so hard. I think the egg is just going to split. Lol

That's good! I was just typing a reply about maybe helping him to start his zip by using tweezers to help chip off a few pieces of shell. But it sounds like he's gonna make it on his own! Can you get a picture?

Oh he's wanting out! The membrane is looking a little yellowed, at least the pic looks like it. But as long as you think he is still moving around good, I think I'd leave it. You could moisten it a bit if it starts looking browner. When he pushes on it, just make sure its flexible and not stiff. Can you see good movement through the big opening that you made? And does it look like the blood vessels have receded well now?
