First time incubation

All are cooked up I think my light is too high

Ok if you have any leftover possibly fertile eggs, crack it or them open and send pics. I’ll let you know if it’s fertile and tell you how to determine fertility
Ok never mind...but for next time, if you’d like to see if any are fertile for incubation, look for a small dot anywhere on the yolk with a circle around it. It looks like a bullseye. If there is one, it isn’t fertile. If it just has a dot and no circle, then it isn’t not fertile. You will have to look pretty closely and maybe move the yolk around just a bit to find it. Best of luck for next time!

It depend s one if you let your Roos and hens mate next time
Got lucky this morning my rooster started crowing this morning and had to get up from bed to check up and made sure he would be quite because the neighbors might complain. So I set up a lamp in the coop and by the time I put back all the hens inside the coop my rooster ended up mating I also found an egg layed. I was giving some advice to not touch the eggs and let my hen do her job. I want her to lay as much as possible so I won’t interrupt her laying again.
