First time incubator questions.

I have 2 little giants,one has a and fan, the,temp gage is off from 1 to 3 degrees.I don't trust the humidinty.I put one theromenter under right front glass,i have 5 in one now just to check1 in each corner one in middle and one at middle front.The right front reads 100,but the other 3 are 3 to 4 degrees

off.The front one in front of heaters goes from 102 or higher.That scared me so bad I just used the one under right front window.They have hatched fairly good but I have helped most of them out

Finally some one that understands!! My DW cannot understand why need so many thermometers! She even banned me from Amazon over them. I promised to stop buying them. Now I am buying hygrometers that happen to have a thermometer in them..

I just installed fan in one and the power went off night before hatch.I have one full of white quail and one with silkies,the new gennis all have chicks,due next week.My grandson dropped the only easter egg egg,playing wit candler.I used the 2 little giants with no fan since last September.the ist hatch with quail was 26 out 28.From 1 male and 2 hens I hatched over than 70 quail.Had to stop with quail got to many.Im hatching out silkies ive hatched out about 60%,i was and am still sick and haven't turned them right.You will hear them chirping even fore they pip..Ive run 2 all year,but didn't have fan until a few months back.Keep another theromter in it.If you install a fan you can only use about 2 chanles,keep temp sensor under controller.iM JUST USINGONE IN RT FRONT ON TOP OF AGES.i ORDERED A GOOD HUMINDY gage,but it was backorderes,so they sold me a 48.00 ONE ONLY MAYBE 1 OR 22 POINTS DIFFERENT

LMBO your poor wife is going to beat you lol. My husband said if I buy another thermometer even if it has the humidity gage he was going to beat me. Then I found a really nice one and bought it. He still hasn't beaten me lol. I guess he thinks the incubator looks like something Frankenstein would have made if he was making one with all the wires, and "contraptions" as my husband put it hanging off lol. He may think I'm crazy but he still loves me so what do that tell you lmbo.

I think the purchase that send her over the edge was the 5 basal thermometers with the graph to track a woman's fertility cycles.

I also put a huge piece of tape on each thermometer and wrote the temperature each one needs to be at to be exactly 99.5....

Or it could be the 3 hatchers and brooders I have set up in the dining room.

Oh My Goodness! I just candled my eggs to make sure they were right side up for pipping. I SAW THE BABIES HAD ALREADY DONE INTERNAL PIP! Oh I am so excited! I didn't see this on my other batches. I think my husband put more water in the incubator and humidity has jumped to 60%. I'm just going to sit back and watch the incubator incessantly now lol. Yeah right, with 2 boys, 11 chickens, 7 cats, a dog, husband, and a lot of stuff to do around the house I can't no matter how much I want to. After I see 1 pip I'm going to take my 4 yr old in to see it. Tomorrow is day 21.

My boys are going to be so excited when they hatch. On a couple it looked like the air cell went halfway down the shell. So I'm going to have to keep an eye on them.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I'm hearing 1 peep. Egg #8 is making sounds. The others aren't yet, but they will. My husband is going to keep an eye on it tonight because he's up and down all night, and if he sees anything he's going to wake me up. If I'm not already up lol. He laughed at me for talking to it through the vent holes lol. If he didn't want me doing crazy things he shouldn't have married crazy lol. I'm so excited! This chick is mine. My boys can have another one lol. I got the brooder mostly set. I'll turn on the light tomorrow morning, and fill the water container. I put in the shavings with potty pads over them, and the food container is filled. Now to wait for the hatch.
