First time incubator!

Thanks I'm glad I have more than two eggs developing I wasn't sure any would develope. Especially the EE egg or the game hen eggs that was one of the ideas that I'll try I'll just throw them away they were sitting around too long about a month but I'll try and it was 3 of the 5 growing I was surprised my first time try I'll go bust trying but it's working so after this bunch I'm going to try one more have a source of fresh eggs other than mine so I will be back on track by this summmer I'm hoping

Now I count 5 pips yea!!! Wasn't expecting any being my first hatch and the eggs being so old so if I get one from the hatch I'll be happy

Good luck hun I was the same I set 8 and didn't expect much being my first time and not having a clue what I was doing lol and Bam I have 8 cuties

I've just set my next lot! Fingers crossed I think I'm addicted now haha Plus my good hen is sitting on her egg in the coop but this is her second attempt at nesting she keeps breaking her egg some how ;-(

Like that incubator can see better with it and I have my dutchie sitting somewhere she dissapered for two days and then I saw her out for just a few minutes on the warmest part of the day she got a drink and a bite then dissapered again

It's a bit small and doesn't turn so I have to do it myself but I'm happy with it I brought it off Facebook lol and yes hens are funny things she's been sitting for 2 days but she never last anymore than 3 days I think it's way too hot it's 37•c and really humid here in Townsville!
