First time layer going broody??

I have a 29 week old BCM hen(/pullet?) who just started laying ( woooo) and shes acting like she wants to go broody!!! seriously like 3 eggs! I was so excited to finally have some eggs worth incubating and here she is acting like she might be a good momma! Im happy but also a little leary- those are some expensive eggs (lol)!!!!- anybody have a girl do this? maybe shes just playing around (ha)

Well if you're planning on incubating them yourself, keep pulling those eggs.

Mine didn't go broody that quickly, but it was pretty quick after they started laying.

I've noticed that they kind of play around at it for a little while before they get serious, so if you're going to let her set, don't trust her with those eggs until she's clearly hunkered down for the long haul.
