The current situation is that I've got one very boisterous chick, and 2 pipped eggs, I can see the fragments around the pip twitching occasionally... Only problem is that my chick has now been in there for well over 24 hours, and I'm wondering how long it can safely stay in there without access to food and water? It's fluffy now and could probably be moved to the brooder if it wasn't for the pipped eggs. Any advice would be great xx
can still see movement in the 3rd egg, hopefully just a waiting game now xx
now just worried about the chick i've moved to the brooder, i'm pretty sure she's warm enough but she is just sitting around lazily, i think she might be resting though, as she's been really energetic up until now. How much do day old chicks usually sleep?? I'm assuming being babies they have to sleep a lot of the time. xx
nvm, wasn't anyone's fault x
