First time ordering from a hatchery....

I'm not sure that this is in the right section, so if it isn't, I'm sorry!

I just placed my first order with Ideal, but what happens now? Will the email me with an estimated ship date or do I just wait until they show up at the post office? LOL I'm sorry, I'm still new and easily confused.

They will call you when your chicks arrive at the post office. At least thats what they have done in my experiance.

You should get an e-mail with your ship date and order confirmation, and then another e-mail on the day your chicks have actually shipped.

About 3-4 days before your chicks are supposed to ship out, call your post office and let them know you are expecting live chicks in the mail and tell them to call you as soon as they arrive!
