Since the weather has been so gorgeous, i decided to let the babies out for the first time, on their own. They were having a blast!

Is it more work to take care of a couple of ducks than chickens or is the care required simular... also are ducks noisier than hens..

The only real difference between ducks and chickens is the mess they make. Ducks get everything wet. so bedding has to be changed often. But other than that, they are great! they are so much fun to watch. Once adults, females do make more noise than males, but I dont think it is anymore noise than any of my chickens.
