First time outside

Hey everyone. I tossed the ducks out to the coop/run today. they are 25 days old ish. They love it

Heres the weather forcast localy, Do you think tons of straw and hay and the headlamp will do it?

Yes they will be fine if you use a heat lamp and straw. Put it in one corner so they can snuggle up next to the wall and each other.

All the boards are gapped so ill cover 2 walls with a blanket. Thanks

If you have mink or weasel there you will want to completely eliminate those gapes they can squeeze through 1" openings and they will kill.

Make sure your heat lamp is well secured.

I havent seen a mink in 15 years but deffinitly squeezels

they neighbors have free range hens and cocks (Hahaha im a child at heart) and they havent had an issue. but there tougher than ducklings i suppose.

Ill have to get small mesh fencing
