    Thanks

the run and the coop are not connected so i can move them later. The roof opens up on either side of the coop for easy access. there is a clean out door behind right next to where the compost pile is going. also a nest hatch in the back. I think i am going to add a window on the side in the photo so i can see in without opening the coop roof. I made the gate solid at the end of the coop solid because the north wnds can be bad and this makes a great wind break... over all I do think i dad a good job for being a computer Programmer with no construction skills...

i think its perfect, kinda reminds me of a caboose ..
can i ask, will you just rake out the wood chips and throw down more? also can the chickens sit inside and see out of the top part?
thanks for sharing your photos ..

there is a roost that lets them look out the top when they are large enough.
I threw in the wood chips because it rained before I got the roof on the pin and the pine bedding dried up the mud fast.
Also I am building a Compost box next to the run so i can rake it right into that.

Great coop and run. I love the added ventilation at the top and such a bonus if they can llok out when bigger - nice job![IMG]
