First time raiser in New Orleans

Hello all, I'm about to start my exciting adventure in the world of raising chickens and figured that this forum would be a great place to join. Just so you know where my priorities "lay", my new old house needs a total renovation but my first project is to build a coop out of the back shed- of course!
