First time using an incubator.

Bought a Little Giant incubator yesterday and have some questions,without a hydrometer how can I make sure the humidity is right? It has 6 water channels in the bottom and 2 red removable plugs at the top,I have read the booklet and im still unsure?

Do you fill them all up with water? Do you leave one plug in,both or none? Don't want to start it until I get everything right.

i fill the bottom and open the plugs according to the humidity if its low i leave them on if its high i will take 1 or two off like i said do this according to the humidity
