Hey Guys!
I had a buff orpington hen go broody and had 8 chicks hatch in my incubator so I stuck them under her last night in hopes she would take them. She did, however she has gone broody in a laying box that is high up and there is no way the chicks and safetly get up and down. I put a milk crate on the floor of the coop and put the babies in it then tried to put her down there and she jumped back up to her box so for now I just put a small food and water dish in the laying box but am looking for advice. Should I crate her in my garage for a while with the babies?
