First time with a broody hen

Hello,
I've had a hen that's been broody for a little over a week now. She comes out of her box once a day maybe twice here and there. I wasn't sure if she was actually laying or broody, but since it's been a week of this it's clear to me. Is it too late to put fertile eggs under her? She's been sitting on unfertilzed ones for the last week. Or should I throw these fertile eggs in an incubator and wait her another "broody episode"?

Not too late at all! Most hens will sit well past 21 days - they can't count

No, not to late at all. Swap out the infertile eggs for the fertile ones next time she gets up for a break. Good luck with the hatch!
