First time with a limping chicken.

I'm super terrified that they could be infected with the avian flu as I am in the control zone in B.C.. As far as I know symptoms would be much worse if that was the case....but still...I don't know what to do about it...
 
I would take in a fresh sample of droppings to be checked by your vet for worms and coccidiosis. Many respiratory issues are caused by viruses and mold, which don't respond to antibiotics. If antibiotics such as oxytetracycline or tylosin are available to you, you could start some in case of a bacterial infection. Sometimes it is hard in older coops to provide good overhead ventilation while preventing drafts in cold winter weather. Dry fresh bedding, and removal or treatment of any wet areas where mold can form would help.
