First time.

So me and a buddy have two laying game hens right now. WE have about ten eggs combined.
and he just bought a incubator yesterday.. not sure the brand but it costed him 130 with. The bator and the turnner. now he did not buy the fan. This i the first time i will be Doing this. and i have a couple Questions.

Is it a problem that we dont have a fan?

if i put in the eggs tommorrow can i add new ones once the 21 day periode starts?

Whats Tempeture and humidity should it be At?

You have a still air incubator. Lots of people have hatched a lot of chickens with those. I don't use one so I'll not talk too much about how to use it concerning heat and humidity. Since it is a still air, the heat will vary in it by height in the incubator. You need to watch the temperature at the height of the eggs, not somewhere else in the incubator.

I suggest not adding more eggs once you start, especially on your first try. The humidity needs to go up and you need to stop turning the eggs in the last three days of the hatch. Adding more eggs complicates it.

You mentioned you have two hens. You do have a rooster, don't you, so the eggs will be fertile?

okay yeah i didnt know if adding more eggs would be a problem but thanks... and yes both hens are withs thiers cocks
