First Timer Eggs

Ah sad news... I think both the eggs I put in the incubator were unfertilized (which I guess shouldn't be terribly surprising news to me now that I think about it, as Yikes never really showed interest in getting jiggy with either of my drakes). I'm not seeing any signs of development after 5 and 7 days respectively. But maybe just to be sure, as this is also my first time learning to candle eggs, I'll share here what they look like.

Yeah, these look undeveloped to me. I found that by now, even if I couldn’t see veins, that it would still look red inside. All-yellow or yellow & orange meant no development. Most likely just not fertilized.

Well this is frustrating. 1 week of incubating with 15 eggs in the incubator, and not a single one of them is showing any signs of development. I swear my 2 drakes must be firing blanks or something. I mean, what even are the odds of that. I was really hoping to have got at least a couple ducklings. Is it typical for duck hens to not have a single egg fertilized?

I'm almost wondering if there is something wrong with my incubator. It's at a temp of 100° ranging between 52-54% humidity.

I'm even tempted to give the other eggs I've collected back their moms (Yikes is going a bit broody) just to see if they have better luck hatching them than I do.
