My baby Silkie hen from last spring had decided to start laying her first eggs almost a month ago....
i told her it was not spring yet but she didn't listen and i now have 19 eggs.
She is a dark buff color with black on her tail and an almost red head and totally fuzzy!! her mate is a blue splash Silkie that i made myself a couple years ago.
i wasn't gonna do anything with the eggs and since it is -11 degrees celcius here i didn't figure she would sit on them and i can't say as i blame her.
either way i went to my sister in laws and borrowed her incubator.
i have just set it up and i'm goin for it!!!!
