First timer - starting my first batch Sept 15

I ended up having to get this baby out of the incubator and help her out. She had her cord still stuck to the shell and ripped it partially and she was bleeding all over. I got the bleeding stopped and have her in a makeshift mini brooder to get her warmed and dried off.



She is doing great now. Lots of loud peeping!

our first chick just hatched as well! hoping all the noise and climbing around helps motivate the others!

I can't wait to get home and check mine. I have visions of pipping, zipping, hatching eggs, but day 21 isn't til Saturday anyway.

Omg! I have egg/chick envy! Impatiently waiting for Saturday to come around! Silently hoping for an early PIP! :~{). I am having last minute doubts that I have done something horribly wrong unknowingly and that they all may have not made it! .... Must be patient.

11 Chicks! 2 Pips! 1 Nothing. ! Quitter (had a bloody pip at the wrong end. Hadn't absorbed yolk yet.)
