did any more hatch? thats a nice brooder knid is itThey are all Rhode Island Reds. I had ten chicks hatch out of 20 eggs, about 50% hatch rate, not too bad for pullets and their first year laying I guess. One chick was stuck in the shell when I got home tonight so I had to peel the shell back off of her. I kept her in the incubator and she is starting to perk up. Here's a photo, I changed out the paper towels after I took the photo to clean things up a bit. And here's a photo of the nine other chicks their first few minutes in the brooder!
It's now 24 hours post hatching time, do you think the other eggs have a chance of still hatching?????
