first timer trying to run electric fence clueless

That would not work for me but it would be nice. I have since taken the 2 x 6's and placed them on top of the dog kennel and plan to staple ck wire to the top to stop flying predators. Let me do the math.............
9 chickens 3 buck each
free coop
free kennel
free food and water things
free left over lumber from husband hobby's
130 at home depot hardware, paint and other misc. things
50 or there bout at TCS Fencing and food, shaving
bout 200.00
ALL the Worry worry worry I can't price that or all the blood sweet and tears I have put into this and I do mean real live tears!
But watching these little chicks grow up and reach little milesones
PrIcLeSs!
I can't wait to put the buggers in that thing! hahaha
New babies coming this week! Blue Splash and Black YAY! And the cycle starts over. hahaha WHY WHY WHY
Thanks everyone for your help! Still working on placement of box and ground wire!

Quick question! I have one full grown guinea that runs around between my farm and the neighbors when I was installing the electric fencing he was all around it. When he gets shocked what kind of damage are we talking about? He is not threating my chickens just curious. Is there anything I can do to stop him from getting hurt? He is a sweet guy and I would perfer not to shock him but that looks to me to be the only way.
Also I have run the line 4 inches 10 inches and how high should the next one be?
Thanks almost done with this. It is so much work for a temp home I may just keep it for seperation in the future. Or maybe like a starter outside coop!
