I have hatched chickens before but this was first time for shipped eggs and turkey eggs. I have one out so far but alot of them have been pipped since noon yesterday. I know you are not suppose to open the bator for anything but one egg was pipped on the right end but on the bottom side by the shelf liner so I quickly turned it up and added a sponge for moisture, humidity stayed about the same.
Now I have another egg that is pipped on the bottom should I just leave it and is it possible for it to hatch like that? also will I need to help the one I did turn since he has not made much progress? One more question how long does it normally take them from pip to zip and getting out? This time sure does seem like longer than my chickens that hatched. Sorry for all the questions and tia
