Hey first time chicken holder. So I am Al and I recently found a chicken wondering around my neighborhood. places up signs and even asked around but no one seems to know who's it is. so I decided to keep the chicken as a house pet after a few weeks of trying to find the owner. sweet quiet chicken just don't know if it's a boy or a girl or what type of chicken it is and found out that it was hurt under wing and don't know if it's healing or not.. please help

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
The wound actually looks pretty good. I can't see any sign of infection or necrosis.
Does it smell at all?
Is she eating, drinking and active?
I would just continue to monitor her. She looks like a darling little bird.
Thank you... I'm guessing the chicken is a "she" everyone's saying she so good to know it's a girl. it doesn't smell and she's active walking eating and drinking fine
