X2Why isn't she sitting on the eggs or how did you get these pictures?
A broody hen should be sitting tight when eggs are pipping to retain humidity.
Is that a flashlight or a heat lamp?
Where are you located?
She was up eating but is sitting on them again now. That’s a flashlight... I’m in Tennessee and this is in my attached garage. Why isn't she sitting on the eggs or how did you get these pictures?

They look really good, and making progress, so if at all you would intervene it would be if it’s way past their due date to hatchWhat day are they on?
Glad to hear it! I actually got the hen and her clutch on 12/8 and the lady said the eggs were fresh from her other hens. So I’d say this is day 20-21.They look really good, and making progress, so if at all you would intervene it would be if it’s way past their due date to hatch
Well then I’d say they’re right on time. If they’ve pipped awhile ago, they should start to zip any time nowGlad to hear it! I actually got the hen and her clutch on 12/8 and the lady said the eggs were fresh from her other hens. So I’d say this is day 20-21.
Hooray! So 24+ hours from pip to zip is no cause for concern?Well then I’d say they’re right on time. If they’ve pipped awhile ago, they should start to zip any time now
