Hi, I have a couple beginner questions.

I set up my new Genesis 1588 with egg turner tonight, added water. Going to get a good digital thermometer/ hygrometer tomorrow.

I have 2 sets of eggs on order. The first set is due to arrive tomorrow. The second set is due to arrive on Friday afternoon. I want them to all go in at the same time.

I had plans to go out of town Friday night. Do I cancel my plans and wait a full 24 hours from arrival of the second set before setting my eggs? Will it harm them to set them earlier?

Thanks!

Genevieve

No, you don't have to wait the full 24 hours. As soon as they arrive, unwrap them and let them settle a bit and come to room temp (typically a few hours is enough). Then you should be able to set them without concerns. Good luck with your hatch!
