First White Leghorn egg!!

Today is about the 20 week mark and we got our first white egg! One of our 3 leghorn pullets was in the nest today after showing zero interest up til now and she laid her first egg! I was concerned with the waning daylight that she and her sisters might not lay til spring. Yay!

(I don’t know who pecked her egg but I’m glad they didn’t eat it!)
